MMKE WEEK4: KEEPING IT REAL

Fantastic Blog, Allen. And I love the images as well!

allenmasterkey

Another week in the world of the Masterkey experience course, and another week of navigating the waters of disruption. My completion of my DMP seems as slippery as an eel, another evening of rehearsal, keeping up with webinars, chores, practice….etc. Although I’m seeing the fruits of my labor with my online business, practices going very well, harmony at home, doing the work, things are falling into place (whew), starting to shake the rust off it really takes a lt of energy and concentration. After I complete the course this time, (yeah I’m finishing all the way) I have of no intentions ofof letting anything atrophy, NO… way. I know great things are just over the horizon so I’m staying steadfast and keeping it moving. Right now I’m in the ring and getting hit with some haymakersbut it’s all part of the journey. I’m thinking on the bright…

It IS Possible!!!! Week 3

AJ's MKMMA - My Personal Journey

Already I find myself getting on with it. I just start doing things…. getting things done without giving it a second thought. “Do it now!” is finally kicking in it seems. I find myself getting started on things without remembering when I have decided to. My old blueprint required a number of decisions, prompts, reminders beforew anything even gets started.

This is huge for me! I wrote down the chore on the index card, drew a red circle next to it and before I could really think about it, it was done. Man, did I celebrate!!!? It was crazy! I walk around and aoo these red circles jump out at me. There suddenly seems to be red circles everywhere….like there are blue rectangles wherever I look! Logos, street signs, ads… Each time I see these shapes, I remember the chore and I celebrate its completion all over again. It is…

OK so here I am. Week 1 of Master Key Experience. It is a 6 Months long set of weekly webinars and a lot of knowledge and mentoring in between. I have only found out about it in the very last minute… Hold on… no (my old ‘blueprint’ still alive 😉 ). I lied, I knew about it week before the deadline for scholarship application. Yet as it always used to be I never had time for it to apply. Yes I know we all have exactly same amount of time, nevertheless this chain of excussess is what I have been feeding myself for a long long time loooooong…

Yvonne Bourne – MKE Blog – Week 4

Hello & welcome to my 4th blogging entry. I’ve been playing around with WordPress & it’s navigation and learning a few tips on how I can improve my blog site. Once I’ve mentally processed everything, I intend to implement some of the cool aspects of the various features and hopefully design a decent website. I must say, I am a bit surprised at how much FUN this is turning out to be! I’m convinced that WordPress & I are going to do beautiful things together. 🙂

I think that my biggest challenge in MKE, up to this point, has been getting organized. I’ve found that although the 3-ring binders are very helpful, for me, scheduling a couple of hours to get all of the paperwork, cards, notes & checklists, etc. in order, is proving to be very necessary. I AM working on it though, and each week seems to make a little more sense than the previous week. The cool thing is that I’m learning to refrain from panicking whenever I start to feel a little overwhelmed. Knowing that there is such a phenomenal support system with this course has definitely helped to ease my angst. Although I was admittedly reluctant to get onboard with the Marco Polo thing, I’ve noticed that I’m learning a great deal from the people in our group, simply by listening in. Consequently, I’m slowly easing my way into participating a little more each week. I don’t recall being this shy when I was younger. I’m guessing that my confidence will build with more interaction so I’ll step it up a notch. I’m really liking the accessibility and wisdom that all the guides offer. And of course, Mark’s enTHOOOOsiasmmmm is absolutely contagious!

I’d like to give another shout out to Davene J. & the Digital Solutions Team for explaining WordPress with so much patience. We all realize that answering the same damn questions a thousand times has got to be frustrating but you guys do it so eloquently and we really appreciate you. I credit one of your DS replays with my big win for the week which was to finally getting a Gravatar set up. Easy-Peasy I know, but when ya start from not knowing diddly-squat, it took a few repeated replays to get it to click in the ‘ol noggin. (Yep… I’m sure I’m going to laugh about that one day.)

All & all, I’m loving MKE and the fact that it’s pushing me to brake out of some less-than-beneficial comfort zones that I didn’t even know I had. Let’s DO THIS!

Yvonne Bourne, MKE Week 3

Hello & welcome once again to my Master Key Experience Blog!

So, this is my third entry to my new blog and although I’m still quite a bit confused about how all of this works, (both MKE and Blogging in general), I’m actually starting to understand more & more every day while conjuring increased confidence with every minute of immersion. It’s all so EXCITING!

I especially loved last Sunday’s (week 3) webinar. It really rekindled my exuberance and drive to “Shut Up, Listen to the Expert Guidance, Trust the Process, and get $#;+ done!” Simultaneously, an unexpected sensation of calmness helped to put my anxiety at ease. For the previous two weeks, my fear of failure had been in overdrive. I had been observing that my ability to stay focused was a huge hurdle, which lead to my emotions flashing all over the place which only compounded the density of the cement. It seems that stubbornly persistent doubts from my“Subby” like to sneak in and jack-up my confidence game. However; after listening to Mark & the lovely ladies of MKE, my take-away from this weeks webinar was a renewed faith in myself. I CAN DO THIS! I AM DOING THIS! I’VE GOT THIS!

I’ve been finding it helpful to play some of the webinar replays and the How-To videos in the background as I’m taking care of my mother, cooking dinner, or even when I’m at work. I figure that I’ll most likely pick up on something that I didn’t quite understand, yet if I still miss something, I know that my “Subby” is listening & catching all of it and storing it my brain. I’m also really loving the 3 X 5 chore cards, etc. I did my first chore within two days of writing it on the card and that was a great feeling. I had promised to clean & organize my desk which I hadn’t been done in so long that I couldn’t even use it anymore. I had turned it into a giant juck-drawer, a make-shift storage shelf of sorts. Anyway, Now it’s squeaky clean, well organized, very functional, and a perfect visual reminder that, in fact; “I GOT THIS!”

Until next time, Ciao4Now!

Yvonne Bourne, MKE – Week 2

This experience has been a whirlwind of emotions! As I read and reread Scroll 1, I’m exhilarated at the contemplation of all of the incredible possibilities that this course will undoubtedly bring once the initial chaos & confusion have subsided, I’ve mastered getting organized, and clearer comprehension of the material kicks in. I’ve found that although I don’t want to be one of those students that has a million excuses, “The Resistance is REAL!” I’ve been overwhelmed at the amount of content and have yet to get myself to a place where I feel comfortable with all of this but I’m not a quitter! I’m attempting to balance a full time job, and caring for my mother who is near the point of making her transition. So it’s a LOT to take this course on but my intuition is telling me this is the real deal. This course IS the life-changer that is says it is and I intend to give it all I’ve got! Im looking forward to meeting like-minded people and making a difference by paying it forward in every way. So Bring it on, MKE!

Yvonne Bourne, MKE – Week 1, First Blog

Hello Everybody!
This is my very first Blog. I once attempted to learn about blogging but it just wasn’t my thing. Truth be told, I was intimidated by the process and feared it was far more complicated than it actually turns out to be. So, this first week of MKE is already encouraging me to get out of my comfort zone. I can’t wait to play around with WordPress and see what magic I can conjure up. This is going to be Fun, Fun, FUN! (WordPress must be “a Yellow” too!) Lol My week 1 experience in MKE has been both challenging and exhilarating. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to learn this Life-Changing information and I randomly tear up with gratitude to the Source of All That Is for guiding me to the video that Mark had posted with the invitation to check out his 3 videos explaining MKE and the Pay-it-Forward scholarship opportunity. I literally cried when I received the acceptance email as I was overcome with happiness and warm-fuzzies. Although I have a lot going on in my life right now, I’m pretty sure some of the other students have far more challenging situations that they’re dealing with. I’ve chosen to take Marks advice to quit procrastinating and change my life for ever. My intuition is telling me to have FAITH that all will work out as is meant to. I didn’t come across this opportunity by mistake & I’m convinced there’s some Devine intervention vibes going on here. That being said, I’m doing my very best to absorb all of the information that was given this first week, and to get organized so I can get in an unstoppable mindset and focus on success. I’ve done more reading & re-reading this week than I’ve done in decades! Everything so far is amazing and yet the volume of information has been somewhat overwhelming & confusing but I think fatigue is playing a roll in that. I work a full time job and three to four nights a week I care for my mother who is very ill. I’m NOT about excuses, just telling it like it is for an accurate picture of where I’m starting. So, in a nutshell, TIME is a little TIGHT for getting in the swing of things. A crazy schedule has definitely been my biggest hurdle. I’m confident that as I explore the members area a little more and get better organized, things will fall into place nicely. I am especially enjoying reading “The Greatest Salesmen in the World”. It’s SO GOOD! I’ve read up to Scroll 1 and re-read it after lunch & before bed. I hope I got that right. I only stated reading the lesson on Wednesday afternoon, after printing out the PDF downloads. I’m also enjoying the 20 minute sit. Anxiety had my mind racing the first couple of days but I’m finding it much more relaxing and easier to be calm now. Well, hopefully this will post correctly and I look forward to learning how to make this Blog amazing with the Digital Solutions webinars on Mondays. For now, it’s time to straighten out the one thing I’ve been having the most trouble with which is my DMP. I watch the DMP video a couple of times but I’m confused about content expectations. Oh well… I’ll figure it out… or get some more help in the members area. Until next time, PEACE!

MasterKey Experience, Week 1

My Very First Blog!

Hello Everybody!

This is my very first Blog. And although I thought I had “published” it on Oct. 1st, apparently I did something incorrectly. Didn’t notice until I checked my link on the Blog Roll and it still said: “Coming Soon.” I think I’ve got it this time so here’s to learning new skills!

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus your own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
